Iran said it would welcome efforts by countries with close ties to the United States to urge Washington to change its stance towards Tehran. “If a country, due to its ties with America, asks that country to modify its policies and conduct towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, we welcome it,” Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi was quoted Thursday by the official Iranian news agency IRNA.
