Moshe Douek was found guilty today by a three-man tribunal in district court of having caused grievous bodily harm in the bomb attack in Knesset last October 29 in which Prime Minister David Ben Gurion and four other Cabinet Ministers sere injured. Sentence on the 26-year-old immigrant from Iraq was postponed pending approbation report.

The judges rejected the contention of the defendant, made in a defense he conducted himself, that the crime was unpremeditated and that the actual tossing of the hand grenade was an impulsive act. The judges also rejected the defense implication that the defendant was mentally unbalanced. Douek, in a lengthy final plea, asked for a suspended sentence, citing his army service and educational work in immigrant settlements.
