The Lord Mayor of Dublin, the Rt. Hon. Alderman Alfred Byrne, opened the Jewish National Fund bazaar at the Mansion House here, declaring in his address that the Irish nation sympathizes with the efforts of the Jews to establish a national home.

Deputy Robert Briscoe, of the Irish Parliament, criticized British Government policy on Palestine, declaring that, if they are not helped, the Jews should at least not be hindered in establishing a refuge for their persecuted brethren.
