An Israel goodwill and trade delegation will leave this country for Communist China tomorrow, the Foreign Ministry announced here today. The delegation will be official guests of the Peiping Government during its entire stay in China.
The delegation will fly to Rangoon where David Hacohen, Israel’s Minister to Burma, will join the group and assume its leadership. It will arrive in Hong Kong January 18, after which the Chinese Government has arranged for it to tour the country for two weeks. After that the delegation will proceed to Peiping to negotiate a trade agreement.
The members of the group who will leave from Israel are: Dr. Daniel Lewin, director of the Asian department of the Foreign Ministry; Moshe Bejerano, representing Israel manufacturers, and Joseph Sarchina of the Trade Ministry.
