Isidore Sobeloff of New York has been named executive director of the Jewish Welfare Federation of Detroit, succeeding Kurt Peiser, who resigned to take over similar duties in Philadelphia. Mr. Sobeloff has been a social worker for 16 years, and before that was a newspaper man.
