Israel Agrees to U.S. Request to Send Planes to Iran to Fight Locust Invasion

The Israeli Government today agreed to a request by the United States that it contribute specialized planes to help fight the locust invasion in Iran. U.S. Ambassador Monnet B. Davis was informed this afternoon that four Israeli planes will wait for the American planes which are to pass the Lydda airport and will then join them for the hop to Iran.
