Israel Air Force planes on a reconnaissance flight near Sidan Lebanon were attacked by anti-aircraft missiles Tuesday but were unharmed, an army spokesman said. Missiles were fired at Israeli planes from Syrian territory Monday, also without damage or casualties, the spokesman said. He said the planes had been on a routine reconnaissance flight in the Sidon area Tuesday when a number of missiles were fired at them from shoulder-held launchers. The spokesman said that a surface-to-air shoulder-held missile was fired at a plane on a routine reconnaissance mission over the Golan Heights Monday. The missile, fired from Syrian territory, missed its target, the spokesman said.
