E1-A1 Israel Airlines here issued a denial today of a report from London which stated that the delivery of Bristol Brittania turbo-prop aircraft to the Israel Airlines will be delayed by three to six months due to technical difficulties.
The E1 A1 statement said that there is a slight delay in the introduction into service of “Brittania 100,” but the production of the long-range “Brittania Mark 310”-ordered by the E1 A1 Israel Airlines–is continuing without any delay and that there are no grounds to assume that a delay in delivery will occur. “The current delay on the short haul version of the Brittania does not affect in any way the production of our own models,” the E1 A1 statement emphasized.
