Israel Ambassador and Mrs. Eliahu Elath were hosts at an Independence Day reception last night aboard Israel’s newest passenger vessel, the German-built “Theodor Herzl” which stopped here on her maiden voyage to her home port of Haifa. Present at the reception were diplomats of many Eastern and Western countries, leaders of Britain’s major parties, senior government officials, representatives of the arts and sciences and leading members of the Jewish community.
