Eliahu Elath, Israel’s Minister to London, has withdrawn his request to be relieved of foreign service, the Foreign Ministry announced here tonight.
A communique revealed that Mr. Elath’s latest decision was influenced by Foreign Minister Golda Meir when they conferred in Paris yesterday. Mr. Elath was Israel’s first diplomatic envoy to the United States.
