Israel is represented together with a number of Arab states at a working session of the Inter Parliamentary Union which is taking place here to prepare for the forthcoming 47th conference of the IPU to be held at Rio de Janeiro next July.
The session here will break up into study groups to prepare reports on a variety of problems, including atomic weapons; an international police force, investment of capital in underdeveloped countries, freedom of the press and other legal and economic questions. The Israel Knesset delegation consists of deputies David Hacohen and Nahum Bader and Parliamentary clerk Maurice Rosette.
