The temporary agreement between Israel and Jordan to combat Arab infiltration into Israel was extended today till the end of the month.
The agreement was signed three months ago and proved almost satisfactory. However, when the time for renewal came, Jordan forwarded new demands which Israel was unable to meet. After several informal meetings between both sides and representatives on the U.N. Mixed Armistice Commission, Jordan and Israel reached a compromise.
