Israel Army Chief of Staff Brig. Yigal Yadin today expressed satisfaction with the conduct of his troops in the annual summer maneuvers.
He praised the high standards achieved by the combat units and paid tribute to the morale of the reservists and civilian transportation personnel who participated in the exercises. He singled out the paratroop units for special commendation, asserting that they could compete with paratroop units in any force in the world.
