An Israeli Army spokesman today denied allegations made yesterday by the Arab League to the United Nations that the Jews have mistreated Arab civilians who remained in the Faluja area following the withdraw of Egyptian troops. The spokesman said that if the charges were true, only the U.N. was to blame since U.N. observers have been permanently stationed in that sector to guard against precisely such happenings.
