Chief of Staff Zvi Tzur disclosed last night that the Army was forming new units to handle military technologies hitherto unknown in Israel.
Speaking at graduation exercises for a group of new officers, the Chief of Staff touched on the anticipated purchase of new defensive missiles from the United States which will be introduced into the new army units. He called on the new officers to broaden their military backgrounds in a wide range of subjects including scientific fields which he said were now part of the technology of all major armies.
