Defense Minister Pinchas Lavon promised a delegation of American Orthodox rabbis now touring Israel that the Israeli Army would not draft yeshiva students, Rabbi Theodore L. Adams, president of the Rabbinical Council of America, today told newsmen here. The rabbinical delegation has met with Premier Moshe Sharett, Chief Rabbi Isaac Herzog and other religious leaders.
