Israel arrested four Palestinians suspected of helping a Hamas fugitive who was the target of a botched Israeli raid. Mahmoud Abu Hanoud, who was lightly injured, fled to the self-rule area where he was apprehended by Palestinian security forces. Three Israeli soldiers were killed and another wounded, apparently by “friendly fire,” during the raid.
