Dr. Yehuda Lowe, agricultural attache of the Israel Embassy, returned to Washington upon completion of a three-months’ study tour of nine Western Midwestern and Northwestern states. He visited farms, and addressed various agricultural colleges on the subjects of agricultural settlement and development of Israel.
The itinerary for this tour was prepared by the Bureau of Foreign Agricultural Relations of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Bureau of Reclamation of the U.S. Department of the Interior. Dr. Lowe prepared reports to the Ministry of Agriculture in Jerusalem on his observations for the benefit of Israel scientists and farmers.
