The tenth anniversary of the Ben-Gurion Conference in Jerusalem which gave birth to the Israel bond campaign will be celebrated at the National Economic Planning Conference for Israel, which will be held in Washington, D. C. during the three days beginning Friday, September 6, it was announced today by Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, vice-president of the Israel Bond Organization.
Levi Eshkol, Minister of Finance of the State of Israel, will report to the delegates from the United States and Canada on the economic achievements made possible by the $450,000,000 obtained through the sale of State of Israel bonds since May 1951 and outline Israel’s development program and needs for the coming year.
