Plans for Israels industrial and agricultural development during her second decade of statehood will be discussed at the National Economic Conference for Israel which will open in Chicago on September 19, it was announced here today.
The conference will launch the Fall campaign for State of Israel bonds. More than 750 Jewish leaders from communities in the United States and Canada are expected to attend the bond conference. Dr. Yeshaiahu Foerder, chairman of the Bank Leumi Le-Israel, the largest bank in Israel, will be a guest speaker at the national conference. Dr. Foerder, one of Israel’s leading financial and economic experts, is a member of the Government Committee on Economic Affairs.
