A 66-mile water pipeline is now being built in Nigeria by the Nigerian-Israel Construction Company and will be completed within four months instead of the nine months originally estimated, it was reported here today from Lagos.

Israel Agriculture Minister Moshe Dayan, who represented Israel this week at independence ceremonies of the West African state, was informed by a spokesman for the company that the pipeline had already been completed to Nsuka, site of a projected Nigerian university.

Twelve Israeli engineers and technicians will leave soon for Nigeria to direct a major road construction project in the western region of that newly independent African republic. The construction Job will be a joint project of the Nigerian Ministry of Public Works and Solel Boneh, the building arm of Histadrut, the Israel Federation of Labor.
