Israel’s Cabinet approved at its regular meeting here today an additional state budget, calling for expenditures totaling $80,000,000. The additional revenue, it was said, is expected to come mainly from higher tax collections.
The major items in the supplementary budget include $17,000,000 for defense; $27,000,000 for the construction of 5,000 more apartments for immigrants; and $22,000,000 for farm and transportation subsidies.
