Israel Cabinet Votes Contribution for Victims of French Dam Disaster

The Cabinet today voted a grant of 5,000,000 francs ($10,000) as a contribution to alleviate the plight of the French dam disaster victims. The meeting also ratified an extradition agreement with South Africa.

Other countries having extradition treaties with Israel include Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Holland, France and Switzerland. An extradition treaty between Austria and Israel was initialled last week and is subject to ratification by the Governments.
