The Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission censured Israel yesterday for the cross-border raid Sept. 11 which knocked out a Jordan police post at Rahwa, in the Hebron area, killing 20 Jordanians and wounding three others. The raid was in retaliation for the unprovoked murder of six Israeli troops the day before.
After the decision, the Israeli delegate pointed out in a statement that Jordan must bear the full responsibility for tension along the border and that Israel had lost 29 dead and 35 wounded as a result of Jordanian attacks.
