A couple who pleaded guilty to charges of having harbored Yoselle Schumacher, the Israeli boy hidden from his parents by Orthodox elements for nearly two years, were sentenced today to suspended one-year prison term. The Jerusalem district court also fined the pair, Rachel and Zalman Kutt, members of the Orthodox village of Kommemiut, 750 pounds ($250) each. The suspended sentences will remain in effect for three years.
