A delegation from Solel Boneh, the construction firm which is a subsidiary of the Federation of Labor in Israel, arrived in Paris today. Led by David Hacohen, the delegation will negotiate with French firms the creation of a Franco-Israeli consortium to undertake construction of public works in Israel and in Metropolitan France.
Economic Ministerial Committee of the Israel Cabinet approved today the establishment of an $11,000,000 plant to manufacture lubricating oils. The project, which has the approval of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, will be set up by a group of Israeli and foreign investors. It is expected to produce far more lubricating oils than Israel needs and to export appreciable quantities.
