Reports in the Israeli press that the government intends to name Yigal Yadin, former Chief of Staff, as Israel Ambassador to Washington, were denied today by the Foreign Ministry.
A Foreign Ministry spokesman said that he is not aware of any projected changes in the Israeli diplomatic representation in Washington. This, he stated, applied not only to Ambassador Abba Eban but also to Reuven Shiloah, Israel Minister Plenipotentiary in Washington.
