A review of achievements in Israel since the establishment of the Jewish state and of the problems which Israel now faces in absorbing immigrants was given here today by Moshe Keren, Counselor of the Israel Embassy in Washington, speaking at the Bob Jones University Mid-Century World Outlook Conference.
In introducing Mr. Keren, Dr. Bob Jones, Jr., president of the University, said: “As a Christian institution that believes in the authority of the Bible, Bob Jones University is kindly disposed toward the Jew and strongly opposed to anti-Semitism. We believe that God’s promise to Abraham still holds good and there is blessing in store for those who bless the Jew.” Many of the students of the University are studying Hebrew.
