Israel Diplomats in Washington Discuss Problems with U.S. Leaders

Israel Ambassador Abba Eban today made known that he conferred at length with Senator J. W. Fulbright, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, on international problems, especially involving Israel and the Near East. An exhaustive exchange of views took place in the meeting which lasted more than an hour.

Israel Embassy Minister Yaacov Herzog today met with William Rountree, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs and later told news men the meeting covered a general discussion of American-Israel relations and developments in the Near East.
