Israel Envoy, Banned from Prague and Warsaw, Goes to Vienna

Dr. Arieh Kubovi, Israel Minister to Czechoslovakia and Poland, who was declared persona non grate by the governments of these two countries, left Israel today for Vienna on private and official business, it was reported this afternoon.

Reports, reaching here today from Vienna state that Mordecai Bentov, member of the Israel Mapam delegation to the Communist-sponsored Vienna “peace conference, ” stressed at the sessions there that Zionism is a revolutionary movement “directed against United States imperialism and loyal to the Soviet Union. ” Mr. Bentov made no protest, however, against the recent Prague “purge” trial, the report said.
