Israel’s Defense College, which trains high government officials in military problems, is expected to close at the conclusion of the present study term, it was reported here today.
It is believed economic reasons are behind the decision to discontinue the college. The decision had been recommended by a special investigation committee headed by Gen. Yigael Yadin, professor of archeology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and former Chief of Staff of Israel’s armed forces.
