Sources here said today the Israeli government had been gratified by the strong State Department condemnation of the massacre of Kiryat Shemona villagers and counted upon that same attitude prevailing in the American consideration of Israel’s bloodless reprisal warning. Foreign Minister Abba Eban briefed the Cabinet today on the anticipated Security Council meeting.
