The Israel Water Resource Development International Ltd., has won a contract valued at $15, 000, 000, in association with a Peruvian firm, to build a road section. The contract covers two sections of the Central Highway on the eastern slope of the Andes.
Officials of the Israeli firm, now qualified to make bids for public construction projects in Peru, said they would bid on other major projects, including a section of the Pan-American Highway toward the Chilean border, as well as for a 4, 000-unit housing project valued at $20, 000, 000. The company plans to open offices here.
