The Israel Foreign Ministry today sharply criticized the Security Council resolution condemning Israel’s Aug. 11 air raid on guerrilla bases in Lebanese territory. The Ministry spokesman declared that when Israel was subjected to attack it had “an inherent right and duty” to defend itself.
