The State of Israel is well on its way towards fulfilling “its historic mission” of providing a home every Jew in the world who needs one,” Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett of Israel declared here last night at a mass rally held to promote the sale of Israel bonds. Mr. Sharett said that the new Hebrew year of 5712 would “go down in history as the greatest year of construction and progress for the Jewish people.”
