A gift of 350 books from Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, on behalf of the Israeli Government, was announced today by Kivouni College here. The college was organized to impart adult education to residents of Tanganyika of all races. The English-language books deal with economics, sociology and other fields.
Rafael Ruppin, Israel representative here, will officially transmit the gift to Kivuoni college officials soon. The school was organized last year with Prime Minister Julius Nycrere as chairman of its board of directors.
