In line with Premier David Ben Gurion’s promises to Arab deputies, the government has granted over 500,000 pounds to tide over the next half year some 1,000 Arab farmers who needed loans until the next harvest, the Ministry of Agriculture has announced. In addition, the Ministry has made available 300,000 pounds more for short term loans to Arab villagers.
