Israel Government Officially Denies It Discourages Private Investment and Tourism

The Israel Government, in an official announcement issued today, denied press reports that it is discouraging the investment of private capital and the promotion of tourism in Israel. The announcement emphasized that the government’s policy is to continue to promote these activities.

A group of Israel industrialists is scheduled to leave for the United States shortly to study American production methods and factory organization, it was announced here today by Arie Shenkar, head of the Israel Manufacturers Association. He also revealed that an office will soon be opened in New York by his group to help Israel manufacturerers procure raw materials and plant equipment in the United States.
