Israel has dismissed suggestions that four Israelis abducted in Colombia were involved in arms deals. The possibility was aired on Tuesday by Colombia’s Parliament speaker, drawing angry denials from Israeli officials. The four Israelis, all in their early 20s, were among eight foreign trekkers abducted by Cuban-inspired guerrillas near the remote jungle “Lost City” last month.
