Joseph Serha, Israel Minister of Health, inaugurated the Uruguayan United Israel Campaign drive for 1954 at a meeting here last night. A check for $100,000 was handed him by campaign leaders as an advance on the 1954 goal.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Serlin had been escorted by Uruguayan Minister of Health Dr. Garcia Capurro on a tour of local health institutions and hospitals. Dr. Capurro had also given a reception in honor of Mr. Serlin which was attended by members of the government and diplomatic corps and medical personalities.
