Israel imposed a closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The move came after Tuesday’s suicide bus bombing in Jerusalem, which killed 20 people and more than 100 wounded. After the bombing, Israel froze security talks and the planned withdrawal of Israeli troops from West Bank cities and briefly considered expelling Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat.
