The Israel Manufacturers Association closed its annual convention here with a demand that the government continue its program of decontrol until it has lifted all controls of production.
In another resolution the industrialists called for government protection of Israel manufactures which are suffering from competition of cheaper products from abroad. The industrialists also opposed a suggestion by Finance Minister Levi Eshkol that the government float another compulsory “loan” if need be to cover the increasing cost of living.
