An adviser to Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Danny Yatom, said he tried to talk the U.S. ambassador to Israel, Martin Indyk, out of the warning and the Israeli army chief of staff, Lt. Gen. Shaul Mofaz, said there is no specific danger to tourists.
