Israel is in increasing danger. Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization declared here tonight. Dr. Goldmann’s address was delivered to 1,000 delegates attending a national conference of the United Israel Appeal.
Summing up the situation in which Israel finds itself, the head of the Zionist movement noted that the chief danger to Israel lay in the cold war and in the fact that the Arab states were in a position from which they might blackmail the major powers. Underlining that Israel’s financial position remained precarious, Dr. Goldmann urged every effort to raise maximum sums through the UIA.
