Israel is increasing its lobbying efforts against the threat from Iran. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon this week convened consultations on the matter with top officials, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported. It was decided that Sharon, Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and Defense Minister Benjamin Ben-Eliezer would all raise the matter during upcoming trips to the United States.
