Israel is ready to participate in arms control discussions with Egypt, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported. The paper said the two countries will try to agree on an agenda for multinational talks on arms control and regional security. Such discussions have been frozen for the past five years over Egypt’s insistence on raising the issue of nuclear disarmament.
