Israel is using $1.2 million earmarked for Palestinian aid projects to provide security for Israeli politicians. The Knesset’s Finance Committee decided Tuesday that the money, originally intended to help the Palestinians build infrastructure, will help pay for the bodyguards of senior officials, including former Prime Ministers Benjamin Netanyahu and Ehud Barak, according to the Jerusalem Post.
