Minister of Justice Felix Rosenblueth is preparing a bill empowering the Israel authorities to “detain and prosecute persons who cooperated and aided the Nazis in the extermination of the Jewish race.”
The bill will fill a gap in Israel legislation, a Ministry spokesman explained today. Hitherto, the legal code failed to provide for the prosecution of German or other criminals entering Israel. It is understood that the measure will be introduced in the present session of the Knesset.
