Israel launched a missile strike on the headquarters of Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat’s elite Force 17 guard in the central Gaza Strip. The attack came hours after Palestinian gunmen fired mortars at the Israeli town of Sderot, located three miles from the border with Gaza and just down the road from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s ranch.
