Protests against the decision of the West German Government to allow the statute of limitations on prosecution of Nazi war criminals to become effective next May were published today by the Israel Bar Association and the Israeli executive of the World Jewish Congress.
The protest by the attorneys, signed by President J. Rotten streich and secretary Shmuel Tamir expressed the attorney’s astonishment over the Bonn decision and their "deepest protest" against the possibility of Nazi criminals escaping punishment.
